Went to Superstore with my mum tonight to grab a few more bottles of Asprin. They were on for $4.99 - printable coupon for $3.00 off = $1.99.
I grabbed two bottles of that as well as two bottles of Ocean Spray cranberry juice after seeing it was on for $2.59 (had the printable $1.00 off)
After looking at the pink sticker items I saw they had Finish Quantumatic Starter Kits in there! The price on the bin said $6.94 so I grabbed one to use with my $6.00 off printable.
This is the first time I've ever used ONLY printable coupons. I told myself it would be okay.
When we reached the check out the cashier was scoffing at my mum. She said "sorry we do not accept photo copies" we let her know that they were valid printables and came right off the Ocean Spray website. After scrutinizing the coupon and calling her supervisor they finally accepted it. At this point I was nervous. If needed I would have left all my items there instead of causing a scene and arguing. I let her know before she scanned all my coupons were printable. Her supervisor came again and viewed all of them and accepted them all. The Finish starter kit actually rang in at $2.97.
I guess $6.94 is the price at SS? She adjusted my coupon to $2.97. After I paid I thanked her (and the customer behind me) for their patience.
If any of you live near the North Delta Superstore there are still a bunch of the $2.97 starter kits there.

why did they lower the price of your coupon???
coupon is for Save $6 WUB Finish Starter kit - they should have punched it in as $6

Because the starter kit was $2.97. I asked if I could get two and use it towards both but the coupon states limit one.

superstores policy is to not give overages on manufactures coupons.
sometimes it slips through, but it is policy to adjust down, fyi =)

Who besides WM gives overages anyways? I was just happy to get the starter kit at such a low price
