US Aviation Officials Warn Not to Use Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on Flights

U.S. aviation safety officials took the extraordinary step late Thursday of warning airline passengers not to turn on or charge a new-model Samsung smartphone during flights following numerous reports of the devices catching fire. Last week, Samsung ordered a global recall of the jumbo phones after its investigation of explosion reports found the rechargeable lithium batteries were at fault.

Hello Everyone. Loocie here & I'm just checking in. What a beautiful day it has been. All too soon it's going to be chilly, rainy & yucky. I had a scan on Tuesday & will be back at my Princess Margaret doc early next week. I hope things have settled down with me & that these damn tumours have stopped growing on me. I also have cataract surgery coming up in a couple of weeks so my right eye will soon be corrected. As it stands right now, I have no sight in my right eye & it's been a challenge. I hope I don't sound too much like a broken record.
