Okay, okay one last great gorge trip story.
We'd change party locations to keep the cops
off our case but we'd been going to this one
spot for so long we were running out of wood
(even after burning the wood stairs) .
It's getting late and it's a little cold but nobody
wants to leave yet.
I spot a dead branch on a tree nearby , no leaves
looks like I can break it off and it's big enough to keep the fire going awhile.
So I climb up onto the rocks above it, jumps off, grabs the branch and gives it a big yank!
Well the branch was so rotten its snaps right off and doesn't even slow me down.
I hit the ground, splat!
Good thing I was drunk.
No harm, no foul.
