There's white stuff falling here, enough so the grass is covered. Last day of work for this week, yippee! Heading to the Acton Winter Carnival this weekend. Hopefully it will be cold enough for all the activities. Last year it rained & was really warm. It was more of a mud fest.
Premier Slams Brakes on City Tolls
Premier Kathleen Wynne is set to deny Toronto's request for the ability to impose tolls on the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway.
Instead, it is expected Wynne will announce hundreds of millions of dollars for municipalities for transit in the form of a gas tax enhancement. Wynne's press conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday.
