McDonalds All-Day Breakfast to Launch Nationwide in February

Canadians hankering for a breakfast sandwich in the evening will soon be able to satisfy that craving at most McDonald's and A&W restaurants later next month. On Feb. 21, McDonald's Canada will start serving breakfast beyond its usual cut-off time of 11 a.m. at 1,100 of its 1,450 restaurants. Less than a week later, A&W Food Services of Canada will launch its all-day breakfast program on Feb. 27. It expects 95 per cent of its 879 stores to make the transition by spring.

Mexican President Not Impressed

Mexico's president is said to be considering cancelling his trip to the U-S next week, after President Donald Trump ordered the construction of a wall between their two countries. In a nationally televised speech Wednesday night, Enrique Pena Nieto said he rejects Trump's decision and repeated that Mexico will not pay for the border wall, despite Trump's insistence to the contrary.

Leafs Win Again

Auston Matthews scored early in the first period and Frederik Andersen made 22 saves for his third shutout of the season, leading the Toronto Maple Leafs to a 4-0 win over the Detroit Red Wings.
