Health Canada testing Banana Boat sunscreen as complaints mount
A mother in B.C. says her son suffered serious burns and blisters after using Banana Boat sunscreen. The incident has been reported to Health Canada who says it's received nearly 140 similar complaints in the last 2 months alone. It is now conducting its own investigation.
Banana Boat maintains its products are safe and have been approved by Health Canada.
