Two dead following single-vehicle crash on Hwy. 401
Two people are dead following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 401 early this morning. It occurred in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Warden Avenue around 4 a.m. Paramedics say the driver of the vehicle lost control, went airborne, and slammed into a post.
There are a number of closures as a result of this crash -- OPP say the eastbound collector lanes between Warden Avenue and Kennedy Road are closed. The eastbound express lanes are closed at Leslie and the eastbound express/ collectors transfer before Leslie and Highway 404 is also blocked.

In order to celebrate this day in the best possible way, if you don't have work or errands to do during this day, then climb into your PJs, jump into bed and relax, or even take a nap if able!
