"special weather statement"
could be an ugly drive in to work thursday morning......
4:13 AM EST Tuesday 25 February 2020
Special weather statement in effect for:
- City of Toronto
Winter storm likely Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Snow is expected to begin near midnight before becoming heavy Wednesday afternoon. Heavy snow will continue through Wednesday evening before tapering to flurries overnight.
There remains much uncertainty regarding the track of this low, but total snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are possible by Thursday morning.
Motorists should be prepared for poor winter driving conditions due to low visibilities in heavy snow and quickly accumulating snow.
This snow is the result of a Texas Low that will track over Eastern Ontario Wednesday night.
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to [email protected] or tweet reports using #ONStorm.

Did You Know?
The Mardis Gras festival is always held on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday (traditionally observed by Western Christians). Also known as Shrove Tuesday, Fat Tuesday or Pancake Tuesday. It is a day for parties, parades, drinking and eating of fatty foods before they are to be "given up" during Lent, which ends this year on April 9th.

Happy Hump Day Q sters,
The white has started & is suppose to continue all day long. Don't worry KR, you're not the only 1 that has to go to work.
Leafs pulled out a big win against the Lightning, last night. Tavares scored twice & Nylander stepped up as well.
Unfortunately, Raptors lost to the Bucks.

The stars are dying.
Entropy increases indefinitely until it reaches it's maximum.
Since entropy cannot be reversed will the
universe and all of us simply disperse?
I was ordered to disperse more than once in the past.
I guess they really meant it.

Did you know?
It was on this day in 1964 that the Italian government announced that the Leaning Tower of Pisa was in serious danger of collapsing. They asked for suggestions on how best to save what was one of Italy's top tourist attractions. It wasn't until 1999 that they finally started to work on the improvements.

Good morning fellow Canucks!
rock lobster is right, the stars are dying. Betelgeuse, a red supergiant star in the constellation of Orion was one of the brightest stars in the sky. Lately it has been dimming. Will it go supernova in our lifetime?
