Wishing all good health; happiness and sanity as we continue through these uncharted waters.
I missed my 9th anniversary of membership here yesterday. Nice to see others from the way back machine here and enjoying other more recent additions. A final thought to those who we no longer get to hear from. I especially miss my old friend Loocie.
Keep smiling friends - I’ll do my best to keep sending you ammunition.
Cheers

Happy Friday Jr, Q sters,
Just finished a walk with the neighbour's dog, before the wet stuff comes by this afternoon. It's a nice day out.

A Scotsman buys several sheep, hoping to breed them for wool. After several weeks, he notices that none of the sheep are gettingpregnant, and phones a vet for help. The vet tells him that he should try artificial insemination. The farmer doesn't have the slightest idea what this means but,not wanting to display his ignorance, only asks the vet how he will knowwhen the sheep are pregnant. The vet tells him that they will stop standing around, and instead willlie down, and wallow in the grass, when they are pregnant. The man hangs up and gives it some thought. He comes to theconclusion that artificial insemination means he has to impregnatethe sheep himself. So, he loads the sheep into his Land Rover, drives them out intothe woods, has sex with them all, brings them back, then goes to bed. Next morning, he wakes and looks out at the sheep. Seeing that theyare all still standing around, he deduces that the first try didn't take, and loads them in the Land Rover again. He drives them out to the woods, bangs each sheep twice for good measure, brings them back, andgoes to bed exhausted. Next morning, he wakes to find the sheep still just standing around. "Try again." he tells himself, and proceeds to load them up, and drive them out to the woods. He spends all day shagging thesheep, and upon returning home, falls knackered into bed. The next morning, he cannot even raise himself from the bed to lookout of the window. He asks his wife to look, and tell himif the sheep are lying in the grass. "No,"she says, "They're all in the Land Rover, and one of them is beeping the horn.

Okay, okay, so with everyone else isolating I
now have less of a chance of being of being
killed on my motorcycle. In my case cov.19
has actually increased my chances of survival.
The only problem is I have to bring my own
coffee because I can't go through the drive-through.

REALITY: You're likely locked down until summer
This is the first time someone has given us at least an idea of a finish line. The problem is, it's way off in the distance.Premier Doug Ford spoke with our sister station CFRA in Ottawa, and says he thinks the curve in new cases will flatten in either June or July. That mean social distancing and work-from-home rules will remain in effect until at least then.
Ford admitted he doesn't have a crystal ball, and he says he hopes it's sooner. But the Premier says we're still waiting for the impact to be felt from the snowbirds, and March Break travellers returning to Canada. He says he's heard that as many as a million people may have recently returned to this country.
Unlike Trump, who figures he'll have the USA open by Easter.

My friend's a paramedic in Fort Lauderdale. Nineteen in his department are
self-isolating due to exposure to covid 19 (weird coincidence) so he's working
double shifts at greater risk to his own health to pick up the slack. He's doing
his part are you doing yours?
