Today should be nice for weather. I believe I heard that we will get some snow tomorrow. I will be ready for the snow blower.

Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for this morning through to this evening.

What: Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm snowfall with locally higher amounts near 15 cm possible.

Where: City of Toronto. The higher snowfall amounts are most likely over western portions of the city.

When: From 9:00 A.M. EST today to 9:00 P.M. EST tonight.

Impacts: Rapidly accumulating snow may make travel difficult. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow and local blowing snow. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic.

Discussion: Snow heavy at times will affect areas near the west end of Lake Ontario. Easterly flow over the relatively warm waters of Lake Ontario will help to locally boost snowfall amounts.

Yes the white stuff is falling from the sky. I was surprised not to see it 1st thing this morning. Didn't start here till around 9am. Guess we'll see how much will fall. Maybe we'll be lucky & it will miss us with the big stuff.

Happy Hump Day Q sters,

Time to dress a little warmer as the next few days with be in the minus single digits, with the possibility of more white stuff Sunday into Monday. All in all, January hasn't been too bad, temp wise. Good news, with the colder temps, come the sun! Yay!

we sure got a lot of snow north of the city yesterday. gotta go dig out the driveway.

Good morning fellow Canucks!

Today is a far cry from yesterday's weather. I did have a good time playing with my snow blower when I came home from work. I was able to do the driveway quickly. When I ran out of fun, I mean driveway, then I did the sidewalk for several houses on either side of me.

I heard that the next few days we are going to have some pretty chilly wind chills. It is probably not a good idea to writ your name in the snow.
