    Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

    I managed to get out & vote, even though the big, strong handsome man never did show up to carry me to the polling station. I did get a bizarre phone call from one candidate's office asking whether I needed directions to the polling station. When I mentioned that it was in my building, he asked whether I was sure I could find my way.

    I had lots of options, besides the usual suspects - the Freedom Party, Libertarian Party, Communist Party, People Party, Vegan Party. Maybe next election, I'll change my name to "None-of-the-above" & win by a landslide.

    I just can't seem to stem the waterworks; I miss my furry little friend so very, very much.

    But why now (why again?). I was just going through my mail and opened a letter from the Ontario Veterinary College notifying me that my vet made a donation to the OVC Pet Trust Fund in Bailey's name.

    That is such a wonderful thing to do. And it's making me cry. Messed up, I know - that such a kind gesture has reduced me to tears.

    omigosh! what a wonderful thing for your vet to do!

    it's going to take a long time for you to recover from your loss. just go with it and allow yourself to feel. it's just part of the process you have to endure.

    Argo: I don't blame you for crying Every reminder of that furry friend will make you feel sad for a long time, after all you loved him a lot as I'm sure he loved you.....I'm sure it is very very hard and you'll be crying like a baby for a while but it just goes to show the close bond you had....
