Awesome day today! Raked some leaves, cut the lawn & prepared the gardens for the crazy amounts of snow on the way! Did stop by Costco & get some bread & milk for $ 100.

5:40 CGT - Tangled up in Blue
Cash Track --- Tangled Up In Blue
Back safe and sound from God's country - did we ever pick a fine w/end for weather. Lotsa relaxing with friends who have a home just outside of McKellar. They have 3 entertaining cats and a fireplace downstairs that I love to tend. Went out for a woodsy walk yesterday in the sunshine. Getting out of the city and appreciating the clean air of the country and the peace and quiet was wonderful. Mornings were a hoot as the nearest neighbour's pair of dog's drop in (without their owners) and romp through the place giving kisses along the way before getting a treat and being back on their way again. Good to be back on home turf and will really enjoy our own bed tonight.
Thanks to all for the cash words, trivia and all your stories.
Congrats again to Argo with Percy as family addition and Mmmme who welcomes Devo. Let the territorial fun begin.
Hope everyone enjoyed their w/end too. One more week to November - yikes!
Did that at Costco yesterday.... only I returned something first.
Tried Del Monte Peach and Mango fruit cups.... DON'T - They are awful.
The first time I have had to return anything like that.
Am off to have a bubble bath..... and finally have the fireplace lit in the bathroom...

I may never leave there.....
See you soon!

Good day Qsters
Howdy Q folks.
It turned out to be quite a nice day out there today! Spent most of the day watching Ainsley compete in another karate tournement. Declan decided to take the day off and not compete (I tried to convince him to compete as it would have put him in first place in points for the year). Ainsley is definitely in first place in points in her age/grade so should be getting a plaque at a banquet held in March.
Thanks for the CG codes everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend!
During a geomagnetic storm, a neon green ribbon of aurora australis danced over Earth in this 2010 photograph taken by an astronaut on the International Space Station.
So, only one more week left of collecting points. Have to decide where I'm going to dump mine.
And what ever will we chat about after?? Hard to believe October is almost done. :(
Such a cool affect just from the wind

Cloud Vortices

Cloud vortices, or von Kármán vortices, create patterns in the sky near the Cape Verde Islands off northwestern Africa. The vortices are caused by wind rushing over the islands.
I think we can find something to talk about :-) ... Some of the other Corus stations still have points and prizes. Its just the on air points they have stopped. So it may be the same for Q. When Vinyl stop its on air points, it still does the rest on the site (for the time being). So it will be interesting to see how it turns out. :-)
