I bought a Heart & Stroke calendar this year and last. I also have one to the Princess Margaret Lottery and the next Heart & Stroke one!

I've been busy looking into a trip to Florida for a week. My daughter is turning 16 on November 9 and her wish is to go down to Orlando to a festival where The Killers are playing (her fave band for some years now!) I didn't go for it at first thought, but then I figured if we could combine it with a beach vacation it would work out pretty good for both of us. So we booked it last night - 5 nights at Coco Beach and two in Orlando leaving on Sunday. Coco Beach is only about an hours drive from Orlando, I didn't want to spend the week in Orlando or spend too much on airfare but we worked it out. Actually she did most of the research as she was highly motivated!!! It got a little dicey last night when we were going to book what we found the night before and found out the air fare on this flight jumped up by $300. After talking to an agent at length we found a flight cheaper and with no stops, so now I can relax! I would much rather be going on Day 2 of the Festival when Bob Seger and the Doobie Brothers are playing, but they are charging $90 per day so I guess I miss out!!!! Anyways, I'm glad to be going to a beach front place for a while and happily I know where my passport is!!!
