I wish they'd play the darn song and get it done, I feel like playing my new Downchild Blues Band CD's I don't know what took me so long to buy a few, they've been around so many years and have 20 something CD's out. I bought their very first which was made in the 60's and their last one made recently - both are really good.

I too, was fooled for a minute with the last Boston song played.

Reward offered in search for man who beat Rottweiler pup

An eight-month-old Rottweiler is experiencing a slow recovery after being beaten in Ajax a month ago, officials said Thursday.
Vets believed the pup, which they've named Geoffrey, was making progress in his recovery until they discovered what could be swelling in his brain or eye area, and vision loss.
Two witnesses found the puppy Jan. 30 when they followed the sound of what seemed to be a man screaming in distress behind the McLean Community Centre at 95 Magill Dr.
Once they reached the scene, they saw a man beating the crying puppy with closed fists.
“The individuals that saw the suspect (said he) was beating the dog quite violently,” Officer Debby Houghton, of the Humane Society of Durham Region, said Thursday.
The pair were able to scare the man away after yelling at him to stop.
They initially thought Geoffrey was dead, but the pup was able to get up after five minutes. He had bloodshot eyes and was bleeding from the nose.
The dog was taken to the University of Guelph Thursday morning for further examination.
“He’s a very sweet puppy,” Houghton said. “He deserves the best.”
The Humane Society of Durham Region is offering a $1,000 reward for information on the attacker or the dog. Contact the investigations department at 905-665-7430.


Beating a puppy up??? What kind of coward??? Wish the one's who scarred him off could have held on to him and given him a taste of his own medicine so to speak.


There was another sad case of a cocker spaniel on the news last night, such a cutie had been abused with a broken leg and very bad skin infections and dumped off in the cold night. Didn't help my ability to sleep that's for sure. We need much, much more severe punishment in these cases.

I wish I hadn't seen it!!! I keep seeing him in my mind, the way he was wimpering........

He's getting the help he needs now, but he never should have needed it! totally innocent little fella, had to get taken by some creep! I just hope the guy gets what he deserves in the end as in what goes around comes around!
