OMG!!! 6 weeks !

Holy #$%^&^&!!!... That would be a bit long to use the cooler and ice packs that I had been planning to...(frozen inthe deep freezer) Maybe I could put the old fridge on the back deck and run an extension cord out the window to use it...or get a small mini fridge for the duration. I HAD a small fridge in 2009, which I, of course, gave away, instead of keeping for a rainy day.

I don't really have a "dining room". It is presently the location of the "guinea pig village" The 4 lads are getting along quite well...plud that is where i have the computer...

I'm thinking that there will be a lot of peanut butter sandwiches being eaten, for the duration...


I guess that I'll be running up the stairs to wash any dishes in the tub. (ok, trudging slowly)

The kitchen took 6 weeks !!! Plenty long enough !!!
Nice to have some privacy again.

Thankfully, I had set up a 'new kitchen' in the dining room so I could use microwave, toaster & coffee maker;
even had the fridge hooked up there; set up an old cabinet with a few dishes, etc. - worked well
I used a lot of paper plates, etc. to cut down on the # of dishes to do.
Had an old dish pan & drainer that I used in the bathtub - worked pretty well

You're right, it took a long time to pack up & clear out,
but it's taking even longer to put everything back.
