Human finger found in Idaho lake trout By QMI Agency

(Fotolia Photo) A human finger found inside a lake trout in Idaho this month has been traced to a Washington man who lost it in a wakeboarding accident in June. And when he was contacted by police about the discovery, Haans Galassi wasn't surprised. "The sheriff called me and told me he had a strange story to tell me," Galassi, 31, told the Spokesman-Review newspaper. "He said that a fisherman was out on Priest Lake, and I pretty much knew exactly what he was going to say at that point. "I was like: Let me guess, they found my fingers in a fish." Galassi was wakeboarding while on a camping trip on June 21 when his hand got caught in a loop of rope and he couldn't pull it out before the loop tightened, the Spokesman-Review reported. The tightening rope had "pretty much lopped off all four fingers," Galassi said. He joked at the time that the digits were probably fish food. And on Sept. 11, fisherman Nolan Calvin was fishing about 13 km north of where Galassi lost his fingers. He caught a large trout and discovered the finger when he began cleaning the fish, the Spokesman-Review reported. Calvin put the finger on ice and contacted police. Detectives found enough ridge detail to get a print from the finger and matched it to a fingerprint card for Galassi. The sheriff's department offered to return the finger to Galassi, but he declined.

According to En-Pro, gas prices are expected to rise 3.7 cents at 12:01 a.m. Sept. 28, to an average price of 130.5 cents/litre at most GTA gas stations.

Please note: Gas prices have become very volatile because of a change in the way oil companies set their prices, thus making it more challenging to predict gasoline prices.
