Wow another day of the agonizing busy signal. Question: So you have a song in mind...oh however Q decides to play the song....does that mean it is not correct? Can they play the song that everyone is trying to guess?

I've got sooooo much w*rk to do but no motivation. I spent the morning catching up on the first 3 episodes of Last Resort. So far, the story line is a cross between The Undiscovered Country (Star Trek VI), Balance of Terror (Original Series season 1 episode 14, based on the 1957 movie The Enemy Below), and The Pegasus (Next Generation season 7 episode 12). It's important to have a clear frame of reference in this life.

I wish anyone who gets through the best of luck, but the second chord of southbound train is a different chord on a very different piano. Unfortunately, I am out of suggestions at the moment.

Why assume that the song cannot be or has not been played? Business as usual at the Q. We know, for example, that they will pre-call big winners the day before (first person experience on this one) and then maintain the pretext that a contest is still running for 16 hours or so. They are going to do whatever is least disruptive to their regular routine, including not altering the playlist.

But seriously, the harder I work to find the song the less I know it. I don't even have a guess now. Well other than the fact that it's a song they play on Q and has a piano in it. Could be Elton John, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Supertramp or something totally unexpected.

Any chance it could be the last chord of Lady Madonna? I played it against the clip I recorded and the tone is the same, but there may be too many other instruments playing at the end of the song...
