Good morning to all y'all, greetings from Abu Dhabi.
I'm sitting at a coffee shop with wifi, catching up on emails and stuff. There is wifi in the hotel, but bandwidth is at a premium over here and it is almost impossible to find a good signal that is faster than dial-up. Going to dinner with some Japanese oil company managers tonight, and they have already given fair warning to my Arab partner that they fully intend to drink like fish. So it will be sake and Kirin for me this evening. I had better go get a couple of hours pre-sleep.
Two more weeks in the land of sand. Heading out by chopper for a quick tour of an offshore oil platform tomorrow. Catch you later.
