Wow, I think I just held my breath for 6 minutes and 8 seconds. How can they do that?
I recall going to Isle of Man as an 11 year old with my folks and we didn't know the TT races were on - I can still remember the smell of Castol "R" and the ear-splitting sound of the engines as the bikes flew past. During our vacation there were 2 racers killed Bob McIntyre and one of the Camathius twins in a sidecar race. I heard years later that the island was considered an unsafe venue for racing; but obviously it came back ( no doubt it was all a marketing ploy from the sponsors or the Manx people) I've never become a fan; but obviously it made an indelible impression on a youth's mind.

Been a rough few days here....am just glad for the snow...should make for some decent skiing tomorrow...in the meantime looking forward to watching the Leafs win tonight...

Am so sorry to hear of your injury...thankfully we both know that a ski boot serves as the perfect protective covering for said foot....just ease up on the compression turns you'll be fine..

Had a fall at work today carrying a patient down a few uneven stairs. Instant pain to the top of my right foot after it happened. Saw the Dr in ER after the call & was told I have an internal soft tissue injury after looking at my x-ray. Rest(asked for 10 weeks off) x 3 days(no skiing this week). Looks like the boss will be clearing the drive. Medicating myself at home now...hic, concerned that our ice supply is low!
