Hello my Q friends!
Had a nice time in Montreal. When we arrived the sun was a shining - everyone was out on the patios. Was pretty tired though as the train left at 6:30 a.m. and I only slept maybe 2 hours. We walked around from around 2 p.m. to 9:30 or so. The first hotel was nice and had a late check out the next day. The second one was only a 10 minute walk from the 1st - not planned but convenient! They gave breakfast vouchers so that was nice. Did a lot of walking - yesterday was really cold but the other days were good. Went to the same restaurant as a few years ago that lets you bring your own wine - that's a real bonus - saves you a bundle - wish we could do that here!!!
Didn't buy much except a few rings - bought one from a guy I talked down in price on St Denis then I ran into him again in another store on Mt. Royal at the last minute before leaving so he gave me another deal so I got another! He found it quite amusing how long I took to make up my mind on which ones to buy
. We also found a great discount store selling boots and shoes for really great reductions, I got a pair of boots and my daughter some rainboots for $20 each reduced from $100 plus. Was tempted to buy more........
Anyways all in all a nice little get away.
Just got back last night at 1 a.m. so haven't had much time to come on here. Was out all day at the H.S. and then downtown.
Just heard the Q to CALL!!!! so CALL for ESC.............

There is nothing wrong with being 50, in fact I found it swell,
Loocie still likes to rock & roll although it's been a long lonely time,
I also enjoy going for a stroll, as fresh air clears your mind,
