Good Morning, hope you all had a nice long weekend. Spent everyday working on the boat and then at night to the hospital. Dad should begetting a pacemaker today and hopefully to a regular ward. The boat is closer but discovered a problem. Becausethe vinyl was so heavy it could not be made in one piece, so the joints couldnot be sewed. So the wife is stitching by hand though four layers of vinylafter the panels are glued on. I’m going to owe her big time!!! And that on topof putting up with me!!!!! She says she will take a needle and thread everytime we are out on the water.

Happy post Canada Day all! Hope you all had a good one!

The Q music fest down here was great. Cloudy most of the day but no rain!! I arrived at 12:30 p.m. and left after the last song by Floyd Factor which was 10:45 - they wanted to do another one but were told they had to go off because of the by law. Everyone kept yelling "One more song" to no avail! Anyways a great day of music - very short breaks between bands which was great. They all did a great show.

Talked to Johnny Garbutt (Flairboy) for a bit.

Sorry I couldn't find spart, Berndawg etc. Walked around and around......I was right up at the front - thought one of you would come up at some point but guess you stayed wherever you were...........got to talk to Mechman - his wife spotted me from the beer tent where they were.....Missyzazz (or something like that!) who used to be on here quite a bit came over and we talked for a bit.

Took pictures will try to put some up .....if I can get my computer upstairs going........

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I am just home from a shoot in Markham, it was right in my father's old neighborhood (where he lived with his 2nd wife, he is in Thailand now with wife 3) Parkway and Main street area. I had not been there in at least 12 years since he had moved and they are still doing construction to the Main Street area!

If anyone wants to see Michael's White do the 1st Zep album next Friday (although not many of you seem to go) he announced after his set yesterday you just need to say "Q107" at the door and you will get in!!!

Feeling pretty tired today - couldn't get to sleep - that seems to happen a lot after I've been out listening to live music!!! Oh well, it was a good day so what can I say!!! That guy Dominik was talking about this morning was dancing around right by us for a good part of the day - he had a big Canada Day with his thumbs looped through it and his beard and hair were spray painted red!

btw - I got an invite for the 2013 Ontario Volunteer Service Awards from the Ontario government for volunteering at the Humane Society but it was for a night when I was away so I couldn't make it. Kind of a surprise though - the Humane Society said they gave them my name....
