Good morning. Yea for Mondays my arms can take any more. I trimmedtrees bushes and hedges all day Saturday and for some reason thought yesterdaywas a good day to wax the Santa Fe. Of course had to do a pre wax conditionerthat was twice as thick as the wax. It looks great but after five hours thearms are aching today. It was also agood day for dad a lot more walking and in better sprits. Got home early Friday and found a trail ofblood drops in the hall; my son had just come in after stepping on a board witha screw sticking out. So it was up to the clinic for tetanus shot as we don’tknow when he had the last one. Have a good day.
H team – congrats onthe Pat Benatar ticket win, saw her a few years ago, she sounded good, she wasthe warm up band, but for who I can’t remember, maybe the Eagles.

morning Q sters,
a little on the cold side this am, only 14 degrees out & no humidity factor. sitting here at work with my jacket on again. it's an ice bucket in here. can't wait till tomorrow, when the humidity comes into factor. back to being stupid busy monday at work.

Every once in a while, I find that I cannot do a quick reply to the thread, even though I am logged on. This problem has been occurring occasionally for the last couple of weeks. Is anyone else having this problem?

periodically it has happened to me & i have to refresh the page to make it come back.

We had a great vacation last week... couldn't have asked for more perfect weather for up north (except for the storm on Friday - but it was inevitable with all of that heat and humidity).... the dock is 95% done and I love it.... It's more like a deck than a dock!!!

Back to the grind.... I hope everyone has a great day!!!

(Photo courtesy US Agriculture Department, John Kucharski) LONDON - A British woman returned from a holiday in Peru hearing scratching noises inside her head to be told she was being attacked by flesh-eating maggots living inside her ear. Rochelle Harris, 27, said she remembered dislodging a fly from her ear while in Peru but thought nothing more of it until she started getting headaches and pains down one side of her face and woke up in Britain one morning with liquid on her pillow. Thinking she had a routine ear infection caused by a mosquito bite, she sought medical treatment at the Royal Derby Hospital in northern England, where a consultant noticed maggots in a small hole in her ear-canal. "I was very scared. Were they in my brain?" said Harris, recounting her ordeal in a new Discovery Channel documentary series called "Bugs, Bites and Parasites" to be aired in the UK from July 21. Doctors tried first to flush the maggots out of the ear using olive oil. "It was the longest few hours that I have ever had to wait... I could still feel them and hear them and knowing what those scratching sounds were, and knowing what that wriggling feeling was, that just made it all the worse," she said. When flushing the maggots out failed, the medics resorted to surgery and found a "writhing mass of maggots" within her ear, raising concern they could eat into her brain. The surgery removed a family of eight maggots. Analysis found that a New World Army Screw Worm fly had laid eggs inside Harris's ear. "I'm not so squeamish around those kinds of bugs now. How can I be? They've been in my ear!" Harris said.

Gooood morning Qbees! Well, we were without internet (gracias xplornet) yet again until Saturday night as the Friday storm took out a tower or some such poppycock. One of the drawbacks of country life. We had a campout at our place for friends and their kids this weekend and had a blast-good buddies, good food, campfire and beer-fed conversations. Hope you all have a wonderful week, I am off and running yet again...

I've also encountered this on here recently. Heargirl mentioned that pages can be slow to load. I think so too.
I wonder if it is time to ask for a Volume 5? What do you think?
