Good afternoon my Q friends. I'm back. Had a not too bad time at my friends trailer. It rained most of Friday though really really hard. I was tenting but I was surprised it stayed dry inside. Very good for a tent which is at least 25 years old. Have a great rest of the long weekend!!!!! CHEERS

I made the trip to Rama, yup – it was silly ole me,
Our seats were splendid we sat in lucky row "lucky" thirteen,
A great view of the stage & the simulcast screen,
A 40^th anniversary show can sure take you back in time,
A Rock N’ Roll Fantasy that is both yours & mine,
The Burnin’ Sky was Gone, Gone, Gone,
But there are times when we all must just be Movin’ On,
A Shooting Star sing-along that had romance & charm,
& you can Run With The Pack, but don’t do any harm,
Rock Steady as you can, my dear sweet Honey Child,
& Oh, Atlanta I do think that sometimes we do like it wild,
Almost everyone knows what it’s like when you Can’t Get Enough,
For if you’re in Bad Company, you just have to be tough,
I had a magical evening with a life long friend,
& I have to say the our wolfie is truly the ‘living end’,
You know I didn’t trek or deviate into that electrifying casino,
Cause when it comes to wagering, I ain’t no gambling bambino,
So thank you my friend, ten thousand times over,
I felt touched with the luck of a four-leaved clover,
In closing I’ll say that guys rocking in their sixties are hot! hot! hot!
& some of those young bands out there, sure could stand to be taught!

125 YEARS AGO, THE SITE OF ONTARIO’S LEGISLATURE WAS OCCUPIED BY AN ASYLUM FOR THE INSANE

Once upon a time the site of today’s Ontario’s Legislative Assembly building, QUEEN’S PARK, was home to King’s College, which was founded during the reign of George IV. After the College relocated, its old building was converted into the University Asylum for the Insane, which remained there for 30 years.I think some of the insane inmates never left!

I think most of them still remain there.

John Graves Simcoe (February 25, 1752 – October 26, 1806) was a British army officerand the first Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada from 1791–1796. Then frontier, this was modern-day southern Ontario and the watersheds of Georgian Bay and Lake Superior. He founded York (now Toronto) and was instrumental in introducing institutions such as thecourts, trial by jury, English common law, freehold land tenure, and in abolishing slavery. He ended slavery in Upper Canada long before it was abolished in the British Empire as a whole – by 1810 there were no slaves in Upper Canada, but the Crown did not abolish slavery throughout the Empire until 1834.
