Happy Caturday Q sters!
well the Q bash was amazing. being that this was the 1st time seeing any of them, i really enjoyed all of the groups. Mob Barley did a great tribute to Bob Marley. they really got the whole crowd going & in the dancing groove. the lead singer had a lot of energy & was bouncing & a groovin' all over the stage. he even accidently spilled his beer with his foot. 1 of the crowd bought him a new one.
Teenage Head was up next & i was surprised that they had the shortest set list & performed for a very short time. the only problem i had with them was, you couldn't hear or understand what the singer was singing, the other groups were fine.
Honeymoon Suite was awesome. you could see why they won Q's home grown contest. they were very energetic & had the whole crowd singing along to their tunes. they played all their hits, New Girl Now, Wave Babies, Burning in Love, Stay in the Light, Feel it Again, What does it Take, etc. the crowd didn't want them to leave.
last, but certainly not least, David Wilcox. he had 2 big Marshall amps that his guitar was plugged into beside him, that plowed out a lot of volume. hopefully he had earplugs in. he was quite the comic with his facial expressions, but his guitar playing was awesome. he has a very unique playing style, making his guitar talk & sing some really awesome sounds. David came out to do an encore at the end.
Andit & i saw Berndawg, Zedgirl, Karl & Spartacus at the end of the show. apparently Mechman, his wife & Ecat were there too, but didn't see them. all in all it was a great show as far as performers went, but was disappointed to see the mess on the floor & everywhere else. i know the SA has garbage cans & at the very least when you went to get another drink, carrying the empty to the counter wouldn't be difficult. there were cans, plastic cups & all kinds of garbage, people had spilt drinks on the floor & it was sticky having to walk out the door. that was the only drawback.
have a great day. work for me.NASCAR SEASON is complete for 2021.
Kyle Larson wins his 1st Nascar Championship.

everything else is just a game

Here's one for Loocie, who's been more curious than my ferret and has more lives than the cats.
I made it last night, so that when someone came home from the Summer Bash, I was still awake finishing it >.< lol

Good morning, everyone.
Feeling the pain of trying to recapture my lost youth last night (last time I danced through a Honeymoon Suite concert was over two decades ago). Except for a few oddballs (that always seem to gravitate to me), it was a lot of fun. Heck, it was fun no matter what!
Have to pack up the critters, we're headed off to my folks for a couple of days (they leave for Europe on Monday).
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

You are lucky Mechman if you are a little fuzzy. Man I'm really fuzzy. It was so worth it though. What an awesome time we had. It was great to see some of the Q gang. Mechman, his wife, Jen, Ecat and her hubby, Berndawg and Zedgirl, Karl, H team, and Andit. Don't know if To Harley showed up none of us knew what he looks like. David Wilcox Rocked. Not too crazy about Teenage Head. Honeymoon Suite were good but I don't know their music too much, only a couple of songs. Bob Marley tribute was amazing. As H team said they got the crowd dancing and singing. I was definately there for Dave Wilcox.
