yesterday's press conference by robby made me cringe. today:

TORONTO – Toronto city council passed two motions Friday that will limit Mayor Rob Ford’s powers.
In the first motion, council voted 39-3 to strip Ford’s ability to appoint or remove the deputy mayor or members of the executive committee.
Ford, his brother Coun. Doug Ford, and Coun. David Shiner voted against the motion.
The mayor has said he will challenge this in court.
The second motion, to strip Ford of emergency powers, passed 41-2. Deputy Mayor Norm Kelly will now assume responsibility in the face of an emergency.

now robby says he's going to fight this in court.

for goodness sake! while someone please give him the hook and get him out of here!

anyone in a regular job who has done half the damage he has would have been fired long ago. since he was elected into office he feels that only the people can decide that he should go. that being the case, it should be put to a plebiscite. let the people decide.

in the meantime, please someone find a sock. every time he opens his mouth it gets worse. just when you think he's hit rock bottom, he finds a whole new level!

Mayor Ford hasn't been convicted or even charged with anything , and won't as it stands . I'm not pro crack drinking and all this circus stuff . But when we have politictions Kathleen wynne part of the Liberal party that cost the taxpayers 1.1 BILLION to cancell gas plants then deleted emails ! The computer scandal, etc ,emergeny helecopters when do they admit there faults ? We lose money for old age health property taxes they just increase and scam us again. Rob Ford is sick and needs to get his personal life together , but i've not heard he stole a Loonie from the public !

Incredibly cruel, you can help by signing the petition to help stop the selling of shark fins - as you probably know they drag the shark onto the boat, cut off it's fins and then throw it back in the water alive - to float to the bottom and die - totally helpless....

Act today and let the Toronto government know that you expect more from it and to support a ban on selling shark fin products.

that is true as far as i know. not disputing the fact that he's kept his word about his campaign promises, but it would be so much better for him to step down, get his personal life that, seems to be entering his political life, together, then he can run for re-election. at the rate he is going, his chances of that are slipping away the longer he remains at Queens Park

reputations are determined by our actions and what we say every time we open our mouths.
Do I think the guy needs help just like Anna Nicole Smith and Lindsay Lohan, yes,
but until HE does little can be done for him.
Has he been apprehended doing anything illegal? Nope.
If I'd been arrested for everything I did , but was never caught doing ,
I'd be serving 20 years and so would most of you.

I predict he's relected with over 60% , only the voters of Toronto that voted him in can remove him. How many people go to rehab on a leave of absent ? Slick politictions want him out Kathleen Wynne John Troy's etc. let due process play out .
