Happy Caturday Q sters,
there was some white fluffy stuff lightly falling earlier this morning, but now the sun is out & that nasty white stuff is melting away. please keep that stuff further north to the ski hills & trails, it would be greatly appreciated.
Colin James was amazing last night. a very inimate setting, with him telling some of his stories of how his songs came about, the places he's seen & meeting "The Queen", & not Elton John. Lee & I manages to sneak a few pictures of the show & some pics afterwards of him & Chris signing autographs. Don't understand why pics can't be taken if there's no flash involved. He did a 2 part show from 8:10-9pm, intermission, then 9:30-10:30pm. The Cult will be there Dec 10th. Tonight is Massey Hall & Crime of the Century, can't wait. Next friday is the Q Jingle Ball & can't wait to see April Wine.

Yup, I heard that one in the car on my way to my son's hockey practice.

These are my best from the concert. the rest are a bit fuzzy. trying to take pics discretely down by your side so the light isn't shining behind you is a bit difficult. unlike 1 dude down front who took out his cell phone, powered it up, held it up to his face to focus, then took the pic with the flash on, that lit up the hall. not too discrete there. the usher was all over him like white on rice. shone his flash light in his face & told him that was a . wonder if he felt embarassed to be singled out. Lee & i did ours without the flash & held them down below so focusing wasn't really an option.

Funny story about the guy with the flash. It reminded me of when I saw Heart at Massey Hall last March. I had a camera out and I was just looking to take the right picture. The usher came over with her flashlight and motioned to me with a hand cranking gesture and waved her finger (no not the driving finger) that filming was a no-no. I didn't take any movies of the concert, but did take lots of pictures.

i had some more pics, but they were really fuzzy. don't know what will happen for tonight's performance. i was fine taking pics of Blue Rodeo when we went last year, but the Pat Benatar concert, i was the one who got told even tho i wasn't using a flash. you'd think i was going to sell them to the national enquirer or something.
