lol!! we will not be cutting into the cake till tonight, it is " hidden " right now way at the back of the fridge with a bag of beets and another of carrots in front of it!!
I am NOT looking forward to having to walk to a CMB to pick up my mail, that would mean I'd have to get out of my pj's!!

hi!! long time no chat with!! Well, yes some of the candidates are trying to convince everyone that they want to " Save Door To Door Delivery " but I am not buying their manure! They want support and votes and trust me THIS will not change a gosh darn thing, the Super mail boxes will invade all areas despite all of us screaming that we do not want them. I trust NO political party anymore, trying to think of who has not screwed us over in one way or another? I know I will still hold my nose when I vote this time like I have a few times over the years. Oh and about my wall of messages.....it keeps getting filled cuz I talk a lot!! ha ha

I agree, I hope is is surrounded with many many loving friends and family that can get him through this.

the part that breaks my heart the most about Chris passing, is that his body was found in an alley! He did not deserve that end! I just hope that whatever happened to him is reported in a dignified way, I would not enjoy people dumping nasty comments about those two lovely guys, honestly, I have cried more right now for this man than for a family member I lost. Just trying to imagine what Steve is going through right now.

Hey, madchives! The smoke around here comes and goes, depending upon the wind. Things up north are not going great with the fires, though, they have just brought in the army to help.
The cat with the tongue is Vader, she's two - I just love that pic, that I caught her cleaning! Pepsi has been gone from our lives a long time, I still miss him at times.

About the party for your Dad-I would maybe check with his girlfriend first and see what she thinks. I think it would be great if your Dad and Buddy could re-connect!

I feel so bad because I saw your lunch post for Wolfie and rep'ed it with "happy wed" and then I scrolled down and saw about this having been your mothers birthday. I would never had written that if I had seen that post first-I am sorry and I am sure you mother was a wonderful lady. I hope you have many treasured lovely memories of her.
