Thanks Mechman. He has to go back tomorrow to see how the surgery took and then in a week. Hope it worked for his sake. He's a bit of a hypochondriac and because of his stroke last January he doesn't really understand what's going on. I feel so bad for him. As I've said before he's a stubborn Scotsman.

The patch is doing its job for the most part.
I still get cravings, but I just have to remember how much the coughing hurt after the heart surgery and I am over it!

You can do it, just need to be willful!

Glad your Dad did well. Tell him it just takes time and alcohol helps!
My checkup was good today, pressure was a bit high, got a new drop.
Doc said the laser treatment will still need to heal for a couple of weeks to be fully effective.
Just have to take it easy and go for another check up in two weeks.

Went to Mississauga for my favourite wings for lunch.
Calamari at the Major Milliken in Markham for dinner.

OK not really good for me, but my heart was soaring...

Hi All!

Was downtown today for a couple of things. Got my passport renewed for 10 years this time!!! and for those of you who remember when it arrives I will keep it safe as I hope to go away in February!!! Went on a tour of Ryerson U with my daughter as she will probably end up going there next year. Wow, didn't realize it was that big - some 25,000 students go there! wishing I was back in that age group and could go there too, just seems so neat to be able to go to school for what you want to do with so many kids your own age if only I could go back in time! I really enjoyed college - all the socializing etc!!!

Does cost quit a bit as a lot of you probably realize.....my parents would not have paid this much for me back then......

The location of Ryerson is so handy though, they've even taken over part of Maple Leaf Gardens for their hockey and basketball games and they have a big gym in there for students to use - their library is in it's own building 10 floors of it!

Oh Big Congrats mechman on your 6 weeks - I was wondering if you had kept it up and you have - good on ya!!!

Thanks also to all of you, Jester, Loocie, 22 who signed the petition to help with the cruelty laws.....don't know why better laws are not in place by now but we have to keep on pushing and pushing and pushing I guess......

Actually this album is not that well known but one of my favs. Very appropriate title to the album with all the shaking of the nicotine going on. Once What Were Vices are Now Habits KEEP the STRENGTH all you trying to kick the habit.
