When you leave me alone, I make all my own rules,
I sneak into the shed & I play with your tools,
I help myself to anything that I want in the fridge,
I toss coins in the fountain from up high on the bridge,
I play my homemade CD's & I play them as loud as I wish,
I've ate all the cashews from the nutty-ish dish,
I went nuts at the craft table & made pictures with glittery paint,
I went totally abstract & I used no restraint,
Someone left Stars on 45 on the turntable, so I gave it a spin,
& on the wall waits a Donkey for his tail, now who's got the pin?
I've looked in the Lost & Found & see many of you are missing a glove,
& I'm missing you all but I can still feel the love,
Ring the buzzer at the side door & I'll open up the door just for you,
Maybe this afternoon we all can tap into some brew.
