I was thinking the EXACT same thing.

Correct answer is 0.62 MILES in a Kilometre. There are 1.6 Kilometres in a mile. Soo close. But since 0.62 isn't an answer we can select. we should go with what they MEANT to be the answer.

I just figured they got it around the wrong way ..Nothing strange about that they make a lot of mistakes with the grade 4 trivia

My three year anniversary of being a so called Smart Canuckette,
Sometimes I wonder what I am doing but I haven’t figured that out yet,
I chatter, I natter & I sometimes post pics,
I prattle, seen battle & talked about flicks,
Sometimes I say just what’s on my mind,
Even wrote prose about things that are lined,
Upon reflecting about things I’ve learned here,
It is a place where so many have come to endear,
We’ve had our differences & an occasional kerfuffle,
& times when we should have opted to muffle,
We’ve had many join us & blend nicely into our little fold,
We’ve have folks who were banned for being too bold,
We’ve had loss; we’ve had triumphs & some very lucky winners,
We’ve given tips & welcomed many Smart Canuck beginners,
Some of our one time greats we all miss dearly,
& that is a statement that I make more sincerely,
Your resident poet sometimes thinks about retiring,
But I keep coming back, cause you’re all so inspiring,
I certainly didn’t intend to post daily at such a feverish pitch,
& being a Smart Canuck has certainly not made me rich,
Thanks to you all for always knowing the right things to say,
As sometimes we all need a boost to brighten our day,
Although our “Q” thread may see some changes,
We can still come here for our pleasant exchanges.
I think I have likely said so much more than enough,
Now off you all go to enjoy your day & strut your delightful stuff,

Before I take Austin for his walk, I wanted to give you an update on the baby chick. He/she is loosing its down and I think by next week it will be completely gone. They seemed very upset that Dad was nowhere to be found. They were making noises like crying children in the distance. Hope they reunited along the way.

Aug 12 - Qbash - no way - dang I am at the cottage.......seriously grrrrrrrr...guess I will have to organize a winter bash

i know the feeling. was looking forward to it, till the announced the date. i'm on vacation that week, but will be in NYC for a great girls party weekend. about 54 of us will converge on the city for some fun, theatre, shopping & sight seeing. if anyone gets to go, see if they're starting to hand out freebies for the fall concerts at the Sound Academy like last year. i'd like 1 please .

It was nice of the Q to throw a party on my birthday, but I really wish they would have checked with me first... I'll be at the boat on vacation that day...

I hope everyone has a fun time celebrating without me!!
