Good Afternoon.Must say I had a great day yesterday. Last week I was pretty down I know I said it was dad and that was a lot of it, but my best buddy in Calgary is not doing very well. He has since been confided to a Hospice and can no longer the walk as the pain killers taken a toll on his body. When I talked to him last Wednesday it was the first time it did not sound like himself. But yesterday he called me and he sounded like his old self maybe too much as he had a good buzz going. He’s up beat and not giving up but he realizes he is unlikely to ever get out. Then he told me a story, the other day he got a call, the voice was shaky and very week and it took a few minutes to realize who he was taking too. That’s because it has been almost 20 years since he talked to his dad.And it’s not because they were estranged or anything. His dad had a stroke almost 20 years ago and has not been able to talk. Then about 4 days ago it just started to come back, so now he calls his son to practice his speech. I thought that that was very cool. Then after all that enlighten news, I then when and saw HEART and Jason Bonham, who were great last night.Heart started out and played the first 70 minutes of all there hits and one new song. Then took a break, came back and played the Battle of Evermore, then Jason joined then and they rock though the Zep song finishing with Stairway.It was a great show and once again took way, way too many pictures, 1330!! Going to take a bit to delete the crap then start rework them. He one for now and have a great night.

So sorry about your friend KTs, that,s rough. Amazing about his dad, hope his speech continues to improve. My dad lost his with a stroke and never got beyond the odd word here and there.

I FINALLY got my geraniums planted tonight.... I bought them before the May long week-end, but never got a chance to re-weed my garden and get them planted... I figured that I really should try to get them in before July 1st...
