Unfortunately she did at 51. A few months ago. They were going to get married this year. What a shame. I've been there for him as much as I can. He goes to the Mike White shows. He loves Led Zeppelin.

Hello my friends,

Your old pal Loocie is thinking about you all, so I am checking in to say hello on this lovely July 5th. I do have a piece of great news to share.
I have a new great nephew born today in Houston. Isn't that wonderful? The boys are moving in girls so look out. He was supposed to be a June baby, but I guess he just felt like waiting around for July. I sure hope that I get to meet him soon.

My sister-in-law will be laid to rest in a small & private family gathering next week. Just what she had wished for. No hoopla & no traditional funeral. It's going to be a privilege for me to say a few words about her. I've been trying to write something, but words are failing me, so it's looking like I am going to be just saying what is in my heart. When emotions bubble up it is impossible to squelch so if I get weepy, at least the family & friends will understand. I'm feeling very fragile right now with all that is going on in my life, but I'm still taking it one step at a time.... she is with me. xxx

On another front, my new prosthesis will be ready in about one month or so. I can't wait for it to be finalized. I will relish every step that I will soon be taking with stability, safety & comfort.

I am back at Princess Margaret Hospital on Tuesday for my once over & review. I'm still on the path to keep my sarcoma way far back behind the lines.....It is my enemy!!
