    Very stressful situation you were in the other night 22! So sorry about your neighbour......you did your best

    I was at the CNE the other night for April Wine. First walked to the Humane Society and visited with a few puds, then walked the rest of the way to the ex. Big crowd there! Didn't see Spart but didn't know she was going. I was up front and center for April Wine and the band before who were pretty good from Orillia. Loved the guitarist's shirt - when he turned around it said "F...k Marineland!", gotta agree with that!

    Gotta run - going down to harborfront for another boat trip etc.

    At this point, I've had no panic calls from the tx clinic, so I'm running away. Actually, I'm off to Scarboro for the weekend for a couple of days of BBQ bliss (have to OD on red meat to get back all the blood I've lost ).

    Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend of sunshine and happiness.

    Yesterday the kween and I went out east to have a little fun at the Ajax slots and afterwards to Frenchman’s Bay for a lovely lunch.
    We started out getting gas at $1.25 and then at the casino a motorcyclist was just vacating the first non-handicapped spot, so we grabbed it. Once inside the kween had a free $10 coupon that she played and walked away with, then passed onto me. I’d already had fun with my $20, but only had a nickel of it left.
    We combined forces and I played a wheel of fortune machine with her tenner and quickly converted it into $50 – proving that we play best when we play together!
    Off to lunch at the Waterfront restaurant in Pickering – a beautiful spot (Loocie I believe it’s one of your favourites) It will be our 25th first date anniversary this weekend and my sweetie wanted to treat me to a lovely meal on the upper sunny patio. It was wonderful. I’m so lucky, in all respects!
    Hope everyone enjoys the fruits of their Labour Day wknd.
