Daisy and I went for a nice hike around Heber Downs.
She had her first swim of the year and loved it.
I see nap for both of us this afternoon, I should do some more gardening first.

Seen here is a perfectly timed/aligned photo of a vendor flying a pirate ship kite that he made. The photo was taken in Seminyak, which is located on the west coast of Bali.
Reddit user bijoubear, who snapped the pic, says he didn’t even realize the perfect alignment of the ship until a few days later when took a second look!

What a beautiful day today!!!
We got to the marina this morning around 11:00 (after making a pit stop at West Marine in Barrie to pick up some supplies...) we found out that West Marine is closing their Canadian stores... :tearyeyed: The Toronto store is already closed, the Midland and Barrie stores are closing this fall and the Oakville store is closing in 3 years (as their leases expire). We were very disappointed to hear this... West Marine carries so many "neat" things and boating supplies....
Our son connected the batteries and hooked up the solar panels today, so the boat is ready to go in!!! They also ran new conduit and cables today (which took a little longer than planned, but it's done.) I planned on power washing the exterior, but unfortunately, something froze over the winter and the Marina wasn't able to turn the water on yet... It's supposed to be fixed Monday, so I may just HAVE to go up again next week-end :rolleyes:
On the plus side, my DIL and I sat on the bow of the boat for a few hours today and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures... There was a breeze at the back of the boat that was keeping hubby and the big kid quite cool.... we were a little nasty teasing them about how hot and sweaty we were getting at the front... ha,ha,ha :tongue:
Two weeks to go until I'm floating again!!! :excited::excited:
