Morning all......wow, can't believe it's been almost a week since being on here....and a new Q game to play...kewl!!...
...been busy busy BUSY!!!....my uncle from Scotland was over, and we had him for a few days....that meant cleaning both the house AND the cottage top to bottom (both were overdue to be gutted out anyway), so can you say "oh, my aching back" ?!?!.....
....we had a nice time with him....I took him to my steel band performance, and stayed for the first half of the variety show/fundraiser, all Caribbean themed entertainment, and he seemed to quite like it....a little bit different for him, I guess...
..spent the weekend at the cottage, went out on the boat, toured about a bit, saw a few of the sights and towns in Muskoka...went to Harbourfront for a wee boat cruise thru the Toronto Islands, and it was an absolutely beautiful day.....
....dropped him back to the other relatives Monday evening, and I was so pleased he spent 5 days of his 3 weeks here...I owed him BIG time anyway....I took many trips back to Scotland thru the years, and I very often stayed with him and my aunt......
....did a mini catchup and rep session....CRN, so sorry to read about your 2 losses, waaaay too young to check out...happy b/day Argo ( I got it right, yes?:icon_scratch:...my brain and bod have been overtaxed this past little while, and I'm a bit slow on the uptake....please forgive...)
......so we're off to the cottage again to try and finish the July vacation which was cancelled by my dad's passing...hubby is adding Friday and Tuesday to do a 5 day run, so we're outta here tomorrow night...it's supposed to be a nice weekend....hmmmm...I'll believe it when I feel it...
