sorry for jumping in to say it
would have been my mom's 83!rd birthday today,
crazy to think as my dad (with any luck) will have
his 90th in july.
is too darn sad she isn't here to see one nephew
become a paramedic, whilst the other is a football star.
a niece she never knew (born days after she died)
and is now 9 and her sister who misses nanny,
they both are crazy kids who do some kind of dance
aerobatics when ever i see them.
and my brothers and i do miss our mom.
thankfully scarlet fever and rheumatic fever did not
take her.
and although mom was only in school for a grade
and a half, she taught herself to read and write
going on the happy note, mom's kitty miss lilly,
is still here for me to take care of, although
not pleased with the darn thyroid pills,
nice they are very tiny though.
and of course the fact my mom was the most beautiful
kind woman i ever knew is obvious
