Good morning folks!
This evening is my daughters grade 12 prom-oy, what drama (or should I say prama) I am totally opposed to the commercialism and total shallowness of the whole thing, it really gets to me. I stated my opinion a few months back and now I grit my teeth as I watch her falling down this rabbit hole. She asked me yesterday about my prom and was flabbergasted that I didnt go. Man, there are so many things in this world that are worth while, not false eyelashes, glitter nail polish in just the right shade etc-it kills me!!!
Sorry for the rant-On the flip side, she is on the ballot for prom queen
