Yes, the DJs have been talking about this new contest over that last week. Looking forward to it.

I love Fridays. But I love Fridays even more when it is 5:00. On the bright side, I get to wait it out with all of you, so that way we can all look forward to 5:00 together.

heck if it wasn't to us, interesting it is to some of them - if crazier.
(think i was recovering from a car roll over,,, or perhaps not recovering :rolleyes:
and didn't go - sort of wish i did - ok was sort of recovering)

LOL- you are totally right MC, sometimes I find it hard to go back to the mindset of a late teen. I know there were things waaay back then that meant a lot to me that were frivolous too. The "prom" of today has a huge american influence now tho, way more then the dances and such that were around when we were all kids. Hubby keeps telling me to chillout, she is our only daughter but yikes-I keep thinking if this is how she is about her prom-god help me when she gets married-Bridezilla to be!

Another American thing that seemed to have wormed its way into our culture. At the end of the school year, we had a formal dance, but nothing on such a grand scale. I wish all the parents luck in launching their daughters with all the accouterments of prom-ing.

Well it looks like I'm the minority. I did go to my prom.
It was @ Casa Loma, & I had a great time. Glad I went.
