Well, unfortunately, Jake & I had to go back to the vet. We've been there all afternoon.
This a.m., the Vet gave him 2 injections, & 2 prescriptions to start tonight, but he had a reaction to one of the injections.
He was having trouble breathing, so I rushed him back. He had to have another injection to counteract the 1st, & they had to put him on oxygen. Scary !!!
We're home now, but what a horrible day, & another $325. down.

Actually just walked in the door from spending an afternoon at the "Shelter". Even though the Mega Event went well there are quite a few kitties at the Humane Society - they transfer them in from Montreal, Hamilton and other places that are not "no-kill" facilities to give them a better chance at being adopted. Such a drag nice animals are killed just because there is no room or they may not have been adopted within a week or two. They would never do that at the THS. People just give them away to easily and don't look back.

This one by the name of Jester didn't get lucky at the Event so he's still waiting................

Not yet. They think it might be an obstruction, but are ruling out other possibilities 1st.

Looks like my game tonight has been cancelled due to the downpour which has now just stopped!!! Well, who knows what the rest of the night will bring to the weather. Hope those tornados don't happen out in Durham etc.


Hopefully someone with an acquired taste will come along soon for this kitty Jester, Jester!
