    Looks to be another nice day, with this weekend stepping it up in the warmth department. It figures, i have to work Caturday, but only till noon. I can live with that.

    Driver Caught With Mannequins In Vehicle In HOV Lane

    It was bound to happen at some point. Toronto police have charged a driver for innapropriate use of the temporary Pan Am Games HOV lanes after an officer found mannequins in the man's vehicle.

    Police joked in a press release that, "On a positive note, everyone in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt." "Don't be a dummy," the police release says.

    Toronto Votes In Favor Of Woodbine Gambling Expansion

    They weighed the potential benefits against the risks, but in the end Toronto city councillors upped the ante on gambling at Woodbine.

    By a 25-19 vote, councillors endorsed what amounts to a full-fledged casino at the Etobicoke racetrack. The move allows double the number of slot machines, while adding roulette, black jack, craps & others.

    If Toronto scores a casino, Rob Ford predicts an NFL team may come. Citing “very good sources”, Ford said he’s heard the casino could lead to an NFL stadium being built on the massive property.

    Good Morning greetings to all my Q-Bee friends. Thursday is here already. I hope that everyone has their dials set to the wonderful day mode. I am feeling a bit under the weather today, as I am beginning a new cycle of treatment this week. It cure can take every ounce of energy to deal with it. The cool thing is that it seems to be doing its job, in that I have some shrinkage in some some tumours.

    I feel that I need to keep on fighting & trying.
