Good morning my Q friends. I would say that Canned Heat and Paul James last night were the best concert I've seen in along time. They ROCKED. Just imagine they played at Woodstock and were so AWESOME. ROCK ON! Saw a few of the Q family there. Ecat and hubbie, Mechman, Berndawg and Karl and me Spartacus. Peace and Love. Going to Sibbald Point camping this weekend and hopefully fishing if we don't get too buzzed. Have an AWESOME WEEKEND

Is Pan Am Traffic Really That Bad?

We’re a week into the Pan Am Games now and a new survey suggests so far, so good. Forum Research has found about 25% of Torontonians have attended the games already or plan to. Just yesterday, Pan Am organizers reported tickets sales were approaching the 1 million mark of 1.4M available tickets. Pan Am has never had a sellout. However, perhaps the scariest find is a surprising 30% of respondents say they would like to see the HOV lanes made permanent. 57% said ‘no way” and 14% were on the fence.

Petition Against Kanye West's Pan Am Games Gig Passes 33,000 Backers

In most cases these petitions go ignored but you never know. From 5000 yesterday up to 33,000. That’s the number of signatures on a petition still circling Toronto, calling for Pan Am organizers to pull the plug on Kanye West as the headlining act for the event’s closing ceremonies.

Canada Leads Medal Count Again At Pan Am Games

Canada and the US still jockeying for position atop the leader board of the Pan Am Games. Canada leads the overall medal count with 97, while the US is right behind with 96. Canada also leads in Golds with 38 – four more than the Americans. Brazil is a distant 3rd with 61 total medals. Go Canada Go!!!!!!!
