Jays sweep Angels and into FIRST PLACE, Final 12-5.
What a lovely weekend.
Yesterday the neighbor and I had a small crew come in to get some tree branches cut down. This resulted in both our front lawns disappearing beneath lotsa boughs(a) - yowza!
We also had my grandson for a sleepover, so he was going to be busy too.
Today we had scheduled our final (I hope) yard sale; so despite an ad in kijiji and signs at both ends of the street - we had very little traffic come by for all our efforts. Nonetheless we moved some stuff out and made a little pocket money.
The highlight for all was I talked my neighbor into coming over with his guitar and with Jake on his acoustic bass; my S/Dtr and I on some vocals and finger drumming on a Robert Ludlum book - we had a brief but special little jam session.

it sure feels like fall is starting to creep in. a few trees are starting to change colour already and there is a bit of a chill in the air.

Many individuals who abuse codeine become tolerant to the mild effects of the narcotic and begin to abuse heavier and stronger narcotics to achieve greater highs. In addition, many individuals with codeine addiction begin to use other drugs such as benzodiazepines and alcohol in order to achieve greater highs. Others may abuse codeine and stimulant drugs in order to reduce the side effects of the stimulants and produce a more mellow high.
Codeine addiction is a serious disorder that can cause much suffering for all involved.

Just made it back as it got dark. Rode our bikes down to Sugar Beach, then Harbourfront where they were having an Iranian Festival, then walked up to where the Coconut Festival was - checked that out for a while, then walked past King and Bathurst to try a Italian Restaurant out I had a Groupon for but they wouldn't accept it as they have been having some problems with it so I'll have to get my money back!
Bought a few liters of Coconut water and two jars of Coconut Spread - one with some chocolate and one with some mango in it! IF you haven't heard already all things coconut are very healthy - using coconut oil for cooking is better than others too.
That lady dancing with her dog reminds me of some I have seen dancing with their dogs at the Superdogs show, I still go every year to see all the great dogs doing their thing, many have come from shelters!
Have been using coconut for a few years now. use it for cooking all the time. it has a higher cooking temp than olive oil & has some great health benefits too. also is a great salad dressing.Quote:
