Have a great day Q'sters! Looks like the rain has passed! Enjoy!
Mind your "p's" & mind your "q's",
Please don't have the monday blues,
It's just a day, so be unpretentious,
It's gonna whiz by, so be conscientious,
If it rains then it rains & if it pours then it pours,
I have happy monday wishes for you & for yours,
Try to behave & please don't be brash,
& if rep made you rich, just imagine the cash!

Today is Vesuvius Day.
Oncommemorates the historic eruption of Mount Vesuvius On August 24, 79 A.D, which destroyed the city of Pompeii and surrounding areas in one of history’s largest recorded volcanic explosions.
Good morning fellow Canucks!
I was away last week to the cottage. I just didn't want to advertise that on the internet.
It was a good week, a couple of rainy mornings, but enough good weather to take my son wake boarding and water skiing. I thing my wife read two books sitting on the dock.
Well folks, have a great week ahead!
forget what i said earlier about your umbrella. it's cleared up and looks to be another fantastic day! :)

The Who
- The Who at 1 (1964): Mods playing rhythm and blues with an element of danger. Pete Townshend smashes his first guitar by accident at the Railway Hotel in Harrow, in the process igniting one of the most exciting live acts ever. One week later at the same venue, Keith Moon smashes his drum kit in solidarity.
- The Who at 2 (1965): Having made their first stir with the chord-chopping “I Can’t Explain,” the group truly exploded (both the charts and Pete Townshend’s amps) with “My Generation”
- The Who at 5 (1969): Already stars thanks to hits such as “I’m a Boy” and “I Can See for Miles,” with a reputation for wild live shows, The Who took the obvious route; they recorded a rock opera about a deaf/dumb/blind kid named Tommy, who plays a mean pinball
- The Who at 50 (now): After decades of changing musical history, the group offers an epic set of what Townshend calls “all the hits, picks, mixes, and misses” of the band’s entire career
- Eyewitness accounts of what you’ll see: Roger Daltrey hitting every big note and Townshend pick-whipping and windmilling on his Stratocaster
- Get there early: for a rousing set of rock and roll loving from special guests Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
that's a fabulous deal, jester! :top:
although i'm not a who fan, i'd go to see joan jett
have they announced any of the q contest winners yet?
Good morning. Another nice weekend got boating on Saturday and went into Barrie where they had Dragon Boat Races. If I remember I will post a few pictures tomorrow. Yesterday I tried installing a floating click vinyl floor. What a pain in the ass. Hard as hell to lock in both the side and long edge. Think this is going to be awhile. I had hoped to pass along the Paul McCartney presale code, but they did not give one, they sold the seats direct from his site. If you want the presale today you will have to sign up at his site. Got great seats but they were very expensive. I thought we all had to have the new cards, I think I’m on my second or third.
Hteam congrats on the sale! Hope your daughter is doing better today, cinder block….ouch!
Jester - nice deal, but I got tickets already. They have been great the last few times they been here
