Good afternoon, wow what a game
Way too busy watching and whooping with our birdmen to post last night. can only imagine what it was like to be knee-deep in the hoopla like kawam and hicks.
The Motown show was most enjoyable - some of the singers were outstanding talents (to "name" a few Berry Gordy; Stevie Wonder; Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross characters excelled - show stealer was the kid playing young Michael Jackson) We were up in the 2nd balcony ($100 seats) so visual details were a bit of a strain; but the sound was excellent. Some of the numbers felt like a rehearsal; but most hit the mark
The historical story line carried well and the costumes were first class.
