Good afternoon, everyone. :)
Sorry I went awol. All is well, at least with Quincy cat & me. Not too sure about Lily dog. The cough she's had off and on since Aug is getting worse. Of course, she's perfectly fine when the Dr sees her. Old age & cataracts are the only things going on (since she made herself my guide doggy when I was having vision problems, I guess I'll have to be her guide human if her eyes get worse ;)). I'm pretty sure there is something else going on, but as long as she's a happy bouncy girl, I'm trying not to worry. I am, however, getting sleep deprived. The coughing starts in the middle of the night & I spend the rest of the night trying to fall asleep again. Quincy cat snores his way through it all. :P Today, she decided she wasn't going to eat her breakfast. I was in full panic mode, until I offered her some of mine & she gulped it down. It would appear that kibble is sub-par when it comes to toast. ;)
Had 4 busy days in a row (saw the play, stayed up all night chatting with bff, running around at the Women's Show - twice, since another friend wanted to meet for lunch Sat, then potluck with friends on Sun, which meant baking both doggy cookies and a people cake) which all but did me in, then the modem went on strike. Took me 2 days to figure out the surge protector wasn't working properly. Yes, I felt like an idiot.
Better go check on my girl. Maybe bribe her into a little playtime with the promise of a cookie...which Quincy cat will then try to steal. ;)
Hope everyone has a wonderful evening. :)

basically she made a deal with the high school teachers at the expense of students and us.
"Ontario’s Liberal government paid $1-million directly to the province’s high school teachers’ union as part of a deal to defuse one of its most explosive labour disputes, a document obtained by The Globe and Mail reveals. In addition, the government financed raises for teachers by diverting money from a fund for special programs that help struggling students graduate."
"In another significant provision, the government is giving OSSTF at least $5-million to help set up a union-controlled fund to take over the administration of teacher benefits. The province’s school boards will contribute at least $12-million."
if you're going to read the article, take a deep breath first
Hello everyone, my oh my the day got away from me. Too much happening. My son bought a new car, I had company drop by & a couple of other events.... I can tell you I will give you a Ringo review tomorrow. It was an incredible night! The band was so fabulous & they just sounded so great. It felt so good for me to be out on the town so-to-speak. I felt good, my energy held out & I feel on the rejuvenated side of town. Dinner at Fran's before the show was also very enjoyable. Even managed to sneak in a rum & Coke. I hope you all had a great Tuesday. Oh yes, how can I not mention the Jays? They played so well today. Take care & all that stuff. xxxxx
Glad to hear you had a good evening Loocie.:flowers:
cheers, qts!
