Well the hearts keep appearing & I know that it is a song that we've all sung,
But we all know that a Heart of Gold is special, why you can just ask Mr. Neil Young.
You could ask Don Henley about the Heart of the Matter, I wonder if he found out,
Do you think Mick Jagger & his Heart of Stone are the reasons for his perpetual pout?
Bruce Springsteen had a Hungry Heart & you know it was probably fulfilled,
& do you think Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band were ever accepted into the guild?
Buddy Holly crooned Raining in My Heart, in such a heavenly euphoric tone,
& George Thorogood wanted a Kind Hearted Woman, but he was just too bad to the bone,
Ol' Blue Eyes gave us a memorable rendition of Young at Heart & its fairytales,
& Bonnie Tyler caterwauled It's A Heartache because of unchivalrous males,
Billy Ray Cyrus had an Achy Breaky Heart, but what do you want from a guy with a mullet?
& Bee Gee's ask How Can You Mend a Broken Heart exemplifies hurt that you feel in your gullet,
Heart & Soul is a nifty piano duet that I once heard played on a ukulele,
So, just remember to keep others in your heart & look after your own heart daily.
P.S. Congratulations to Habs on that gold heart.

Good morning folks. I hope you have a great day.
Well, all our snow's gone, at least in the yard, and I see some daffodil leaves up. Too early, I hope they don't get killed off when the next cold wave hits.

Here's another neat animal who is kind of different but also kind of cute I'd say!
Meet Furry Pigs That Look Like Sheep And Act Like Dogs
If you could combine three animals into one, which ones would you pick? A pig, a sheep, and a dog? Well, there's no need to camp outside of the geneticist cloner's office any longer, because the Mangalitsa pig fits the bill! Its curly hair give it a sheep-like appearance, and some breeders say it's as good natured as a dog. But wait, there's more. This Hungarian breed also fought communism. Kind of. It practically disappeared from its native land under communism, but was saved in 1989 after the fall of the Berlin Wall by animal geneticist Peter Toth. Now, this brave survivor of a totalitarian regime can once again roam free in secure pens around the globe!

Let's not misrepresent this valuable livestock breed.
The Mangalitsa pig is considered the Kobe beef of pork.
They are prized for the beautiful white fat when raised naturally.
Wonderful picture here: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-isiEkd1Lfm...s400/roast.jpg
Mangalitsa pigs are a classified “lard-type” breed. However, Mangalitsa pigs actually have more unsaturated fat (versus high levels of saturated fat) than conventionally bred pigs (classified as “meat-type pigs”). When cooked, Mangalitsa pork is exceptionally, juicy, tender, and marbled. Chefs rave about the meat and lard’s versatility—the lard can be whipped, and chefs don’t need to dress up the meat’s flavor with excess salt or spices. When cured, Mangalitsa meat makes unsurpassed hams, charcuterie, and salamis, due to the high monounsaturated fat content (versus high polyunsaturated fat in commercially produced pork).
According to this article they are NOT recommended as pets.
