Tragically Hip Fans Say Foul After Presale Tickets Gone In Minutes

Many fans hoping to grab presale tickets to the Tragically Hip's farewell tour Monday morning found disappointment instead, with tickets selling out quickly then appearing minutes later at a massive markup on resale sites. Demand was high for this last opportunity to see the iconic Canadian rock band, whose lead singer Gord Downie announced last week he has terminal brain cancer. Ridiculous! I will just have to remember last year at molson amphitheatre, ticketmaster sucks.

We can sit outside when the warmer weather arrives,
We can make blender drinks & talk about our lives,
We can watch the boys as they strut past us in their cut off shorts,
We can send them to the pub for darts & sports,
We can plant pretty flowers in our window boxes & cultivate herbs,
We can even paint daisies along our sidewalks & curbs,
We can have talent nights, bbq's & even dance-a-thons,
We can also play cards remembering that nothing's foregone,
All the while the boys are in the next trailer park,
& maybe we'll visit them an eyelash after it gets dark.

MPs Debate Gender-Neutral Lyrics in O Canada

The lyrics to O Canada will be a hot topic in Ottawa on Tuesday, even though the July 1 fireworks are still a month away. The House of Commons is debating an effort by dying Liberal Mauril Belanger to render the national anthem gender-neutral, by replacing the line in the English version “in all thy sons command” with “in all of us command.”

I totally agree that this is a complete waste of time. Don't mess with the national anthem. It is fine the way it is.
Can't parliament find better things to do?

We should spay and gender neuter our politicians so that they don't reproduce.

The cow on the right is outstanding in her field. The two lying down is where the ground beef comes from.
