I really like they way Q107 has tweaked their format these days. They are playing more songs from the artists instead of the usual one or two. They are not all deep cuts either, they are just familiar songs.

I've noticed that too!! It's great that they're not "killing" the same song overplaying it every day!!

Back from the mini-golf vacation in New York State! Played a total of 90 holes in 4 days! Lots of slices, sand traps, drinking and Cohiba's!

I just came in from gardening. I've been out there for a few hours, and can't last any longer.
My eyes are stinging from all the sweat.

These photos are the icebergs we saw in the north Atlantic. They ranged in size from bergie bits, (very small pieces), then growlers, (the size of cars), to big honking icebergs.


This is a big honking iceberg, with a bergie bit in front. The 1 piece lying in the middle of the big berg would be a growler.




The blue line you see is where the ice had melted, then refroze.



You could land an aircraft on this one.

Haunted History Trail of New York State ... The Naples Hotel, built in 1895, has been home to countless travelers over the years, some of whom have never left.

My son and his family stayed here last night. They were the only people that were checked in. When the bar closed, all of the staff left and they were on their own. They survived the night. I asked him how it went. Here is his answer: I didn't see anything. We did go out and investigate. I heard footsteps in the hallway so I went out with Tracy. We heard rummaging, foot steps and as if someone was moving around. Went on for a few mins. then just stopped. I heard my name in the hallway and I thought it was Tracy. It wasn't.

This hotel was featured on the TV show Ghost Hunters.

I cannot believe how hot and humid it is today. I have been working since 7:00 am this morning reorganizing all my wood cribs, clearing out my garage and splitting wood in preparation for the fall and winter.
Too bad that I had to choose the hottest and most humid day of the year to do it.
Oh well, if I don't do it now, who knows how bad it will get later.
The ice cold beer is a welcome break in the action.
Time to get back at it.
