Gave out as many rep's today as I could without getting the dreaded message
"You have to spread out your reps before giving ??? another rep".
Sorry everyone, but I tried. Gave as many as I could.
Cheers!!

Nice day outside but I spent most of it at the oral surgeons office where my daughter was having 4 wisdom teeth extracted as well as another tooth! She's not at all used to drugs or being put under so it was a little stressful but she is now home and okay but the freezing hasn't come out yet so hopefully the pain isn't too too bad later on, got 2 prescriptions for pain, one for Ibuprofen and the other Percocet!! hopefully she gets by with the 1st one only.
Won't be going to the THS tomorrow as they said I should stay home for the 24 hours at least. There shouldn't be as many kitties after the Mega adoption but I haven't heard the count yet.....I pray most found a home.
Got an email about that poor dog Justice whose damn owner abused him and tied his snout tight with electrical tape as well as his paws together and left him to die in a field, he was found and has gone through multiple surgeries and training to accept "people" again and has just been adopted.......poor guy what an awful ordeal he has gone through, his abuser got 2 years in jail, some probation and cannot adopt another animal "dah!!!"

On a totally unrelated subject I was involved in a terrorist instigated mid-air collision!
I'm sure it was a Muslim kid. Now my 18 speed mountain bike is down to my favorite 4.
ISIS has yet to claim responsibility but I'm
contemplating a drone strike as we speak.

H - those are fantastic pictures.
Ecat - I hope your DD has a good night, without too much pain.
Oh, seeing that dog, Justice, made me cry.

Well, I finally caved, and turned on my a.c.
I think that outside work, and the heat got to me.
Showered, and laid down to rest. Woke up 3 hours later. So that was the last of the gardening for me today.

[QUOTE=the H team;6658109]These photos are the icebergs we saw in the north Atlantic. They ranged in size from bergie bits, (very small pieces), then growlers, (the size of cars), to big honking icebergs.
This is a big honking iceberg, with a bergie bit in front. The 1 piece lying in the middle of the big berg would be a growler.
Me and my pal set sail one day on an iceberg when we were quite small.
Broke a big chunk off the bank poking holes with our hockey sticks
and headed down stream...forget how we got saved.
Wasn't a well thought-out plan but we didn't die so that was good.@

I hope everyone had a great day and stayed cool....
I spent about 8 hours sanding our back deck yesterday and I painted it this morning.... Between the heat and the smell of the paint I thought I was going to pass out.... 2nd coat is planned for the morning.... My whole body is aching!!
This afternoon was much more relaxing floating around in the lake with hubby (with a cool drink in hand)

Some say the bass line cures cancer.
Who am I to judge?

Thank you 22! I also cried for Justice back when it happened to him (and after that) that poor poor innocent being, he had a lot of offers to adopt him and they chose this woman with her daughter who wants to remain unknown, he did need some therapy to adjust again to people.....so sad but now he has another life...... hopefully never ever to come to face such cruelty again, it's people who cause it to so very many innocents.......
