Couldn't stop by earlier, I had an dentist appt. @ dawn, which went well, so I stopped by the casino.
I WON $5,000. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did my grocery shopping, and stopped by the bank.

Now, I'm dripping. Boy, it's humid. I might just have to give in and turn the air conditioning on.
I love the heat, but even this is a little too hot for me.

It's Whitby's Ribfest this w/end, so my only plans are to get some ribs, and a funnel cake. I just love funnel cakes, and only have about 1 a year, so I'm really looking forward to it.

This week I think we have finally finished the pool. I thought I had finished two days ago, but just as a final check up I checked the sand filter and found broken piping. I had to take all 300 lbs of sand out to find what the problem was. And old sand filter sand, stinks, really bad. Turns out all the piping inside is shot, and now we are in a big panic as we leave for vacation on Saturday and had visions of the nice new clean white pool covered in green slime.But found the parts first place I went this morning. Just need to put it back together and load 300 lbs of new sand in. Think the water should be up to level by tomorrow morning.Here are a few pictures of the repairs needed, the making of tile sheet out of bug screen and contact cement and of it finished.

Yes, and then some. My dental bill was just under $200.
